Function Tests
Your ski bindings are the sole factor in keeping you attached to your skis when you need to be and safely separated from them when you don’t. They should be function tested at least once every season, after a major crash and any time you feel like something isn’t quite right with your setup. Here at Neptune we set your DIN (binding release) values to industry-wide standards and then check those values against an associated torque range based on your physical attributes and skier type. This means that you don’t just have to trust the number on your bindings – you know that they will hold or release at the right time.
If you have your bindings mounted by us this is also included in the service.
